truWeb Release Notes 25.3.50
July 27, 2025
Users Plugin Pilot Deployment
We’ve launched a new user management plugin for a small pilot group of brokers. For now, only support staff have automatic access, and broker users can request access as needed. Documentation is available to help teams understand how to use it.
Consistent Role Creation During truWeb Deployment
Every time a new TruWeb environment is set up, all the correct permission levels are now created automatically. This ensures brokers always start with the proper admin and manager roles—no more missing permissions.
Automated Vault Data Seeding for Teams & Permissions
Important information needed for managing teams and permissions is now added automatically behind the scenes. This reduces setup time and ensures everything works correctly when new clients or environments are created.
Improved User Management Controls
User settings are now set up automatically, and the system ensures only authorized people can manage users. Logins for brokers now happen through Keycloak only, improving security and reducing risk.
Stronger Permission Controls for Plugins
Only users with the right permissions can view or manage plugins like Market, Data Module, , Payments, and TRUDI. This prevents unauthorized changes and keeps your site configuration secure.
Centralized User & Role Management
All user creation and role changes are now controlled centrally for consistency and security. The “Users” tab is hidden from general access, and adding or updating users can only be done through the approved system.
Standardized Roles Across Systems
We’ve introduced a set of standard roles (admin, manager, client admin, client manager) that automatically sync between Keycloak and WordPress. This means smoother onboarding and consistent access levels across all tools.
