What is the Stackathon?
The Stackathon is a fast-paced, hands-on event where small groups of brokers and industry professionals work together to evaluate top broker tech solutions. Each group will be assigned specific processes—such as automation, CRM, lead management, or quoting—to assess using detailed vendor scorecards. Over the course of the event, participants will interview vendors, ask probing questions, and engage in group discussions to determine which technologies deliver the most value and potential for their businesses.
How Does It Work?
Day 1: Group Work and Vendor Interviews
Introduction & Group Assignment: After an opening presentation from industry leader Tom Reid, brokers will be divided into small groups of 8-10. Each gro up will receive a process-focused assignment that they will evaluate over the course of the day.
Vendor Evaluation: Using the scorecards provided, each group will meet with vendors to learn more about their technology and how it can benefit brokers. Vendors will have the opportunity to showcase their solutions and answer questions to help groups make informed decisions.
Brainstorm and Collaboration: Throughout the day, groups will use large brainstorming boards to map out their thoughts and discuss findings with each other. Each group’s leader will moderate discussions, ensuring everyone’s insights are captured.
Day 2: Final Review and Presentation
Final Evaluation: On Day 2, group leaders will input their group’s final vendor evaluations into the system, identifying both winners and runners-up.
Presentation of Results: Amplify leaders Tanya Coburn and Tom Reid will review the data and compile the results into a final presentation. The top-performing vendors, as chosen by the brokers, will be announced and celebrated during the closing sessions of the event.
