Christy Barsalou (Silvestri) is a focused and passionate leader in the insurance industry, with a career marked by innovation and mentorship. Starting in the insurance industry as a CSR, she quickly advanced to key leadership roles, including Operations Manager and Director of Operations & Innovation in brokerages across Nova Scotia. Her hands-on experience in the industry gave her valuable insights that shaped her vision for creating solutions to help brokers streamline their work.

As the Co-Founder, President, and CEO of QuickFacts, Christy created, tested, and refined the product over four years before its official launch in 2020. Under her visionary leadership, QuickFacts secured $3.5 million in investments, expanded the company to a 20-person team and scaled its solution across Canada. With a relentless focus on innovation, Christy continues to drive the development of cutting-edge products that empower insurance professionals to work more efficiently, simplifying and enhancing their daily operations.

Christy holds her CAIB designation and has served as a Board Member and Director for the Insurance Brokers Association of Nova Scotia (IBANS). A dedicated mentor, she now volunteers with Futurpreneur Canada, supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs.
